KC Bean Esq,

CEO

Strategy and Leading Edge Technology

KC is a seasoned executive with over 20 years working with companies of all sizes. With a focus on bringing innovative technologies to market, it starts by putting together collaborative teams capable of high-levels of execution and building achievable strategies that drive rapid growth. He is passionate about leading edge technology, building go to market strategies, developing key business relationships, and putting together operational programs that quickly grow the top line, create stakeholder value, and drive the customer experience to create high levels of customer loyalty.  

KC has held senior executive positions in companies ranging from startups to large publicly traded   entities. KC is a registered patent attorney and has extensive experience in a wide range of corporate and intellectual property transactions. His experience includes a broad range of business transactions including business formation, mergers and acquisitions, asset sales, and a variety of supply chain and sales contracts. KC also has deep intellectual property experience, including patent, trademark and copyright prosecution, licensing and litigation. He has counseled executive on building IP strategies designed to focus resources to align with corporate objectives and maximize returns on IP assets. KC’s understanding of technology is rooted in his background as a patent attorney, having worked with hundreds of engineers and prosecuted over 100 patent applications.

Before joining SDCG, KC held the position of CEO at Fieldsheer Apparel Technologies, an early stage e-textile and wearables startup that brought a full line of leading consumer product to market. KC also has direct experience building teams and strategies to monetize digital signal processing, home integration and automated vehicle technologies.

KC holds a BS and JD. He is a member of the San Diego North County Bar Association, and he is admitted to practice in the State of California and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

James A. Sorensen

CFO

Chief Financial Officer

Jim is a seasoned professional who has held various financial, operational, and technical positions at the C level.  He has held the titles of CFO, COO, and CIO in several industries such as Real Estate Development, Entertainment, Technology, Manufacturing, and Healthcare. He has held Financial, Operation, and Board advisory positions for several rapidly growing organizations ranging from startup to public companies.  

Jim completed five public offerings by directing and coordinating the legal, accounting, and investment banking functions.  He has completed the spin-off of a privately held Company into three separate Companies in growing disparate businesses while implementing accounting and management information systems.

 

Graduating in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin, he has aligned himself with organizations that are considered leaders in their field including law firms, CPA firms, Consulting firms, and professional organizations such as ACG. He is a partner in a leading Financial consulting firm and looks to use his skills, contacts, and experience to help organizations reach their potential as Advisor or Board Member.

Bradford C. Auerbach, Esq

Senior Vice President 

General Counsel

Brad is a seasoned attorney with extensive and unique global expertise in business development, marketing, sales, Intellectual Property law and licensing.  He is currently General Counsel at DIG Network and Partner at the law firm Outside GC. Previously, he handled Strategic Account Management with Hewlett-Packard overseeing multi-million dollar global licensing agreements. Brad has successfully structured groundbreaking agreements with global companies as diverse as NFL, NBA, NHL, HBO, ESPN, Live Nation, Apple, Marvel Entertainment, International Olympic Committee, every Hollywood studio, and a variety of technology companies. 

 

Brad has held senior legal counsel positions at Qualcomm, Philips Media (Philips Electronics, Netherlands), Astro/ MEASAT (Malaysia), Starz/Encore, and Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment group.  

 

Brad has published and/or presented at dozens of entertainment forums worldwide and helped form the Digital Entertainment Group (which drove the adoption of DVD). 

 

Brad holds a patent with Qualcomm relating to mobile phone media technology.  He is a graduate of Hamilton College, holds a JD from Boston College, and is a member of the California Bar Association.

  • assisting a local start up launch a personal digital education device for children

  • drafting terms for drone flight plan requirements in several international territories

Jon is the Founder & CEO of Content Launch, the first complete content marketing platform built for digital marketing agencies & SMB’s. Content Launch has produced content for over 700 companies since 2003. Jon has provided content strategy consultation for Konica Minolta, Intuit, Kimberly Clark, MicroAge and dozens of marketing agencies since 2005.

 

Jon is the author of the 2017 book, “Future Marketing: Winning in the Prosumer Age”. Jon’s 2012 book, “Content is Currency: Developing Powerful Content for Web & Mobile”, has been published in six countries worldwide.

 

Jon has spoken at Content Marketing World, Content Marketing Conference, Online Marketing Summit, South by Southwest (SXSW), Marketing Profs B2B Forum, Search Marketing Expo (SMX), Social Media Marketing World, New Media Expo, Intelligent Content Conference, Content Marketing Retreat, Lavacon, ADMA (Australia), BIA Kelsey Small Business Forum, the Media Relations Summit and for many organizations, including Hubspot, the American Marketing Association and Shop.org as well as industry groups. Jon has an MBA in International Marketing from ASU Thunderbird, The American Graduate School of International Management. In the political world, he has worked for Senator John McCain, Vice President Dan Quayle and the Republican National Convention.

David has broad experience working for large public companies (including IBM, Metadata) as a trusted advisor and has co founded several venture-backed startups.

 

He delivers both innovative thinking and rigor to his relationships and has consistently built trust with others through a commitment to the highest ethical standards. 

 

His typical clients are professionals working toward a long-term business plan, including future growth and/or exit strategies and seek to align staff to company goals.He achieves this by developing the leadership team, business strategy, processes, procedures, documentation, and human capital.The services include both limited and ongoing consulting

Tito E. Zamalloa, MBA

Brand Marketing and Strategy

Tito brings years of marketing expertise and management leadership. His relentless focus on the optimum omnichannel retail experience built his top credentials. He formerly served marketing roles across top Fortune 100 brands such as AT&T, McDonald’s, PepsiCo, and H&R Block. He also worked in executive management roles at Razer Gaming and Gaming-Entertainment Technologies, Inc. He was lead Strategist at a large marketing agency. He’s also VC and Angel funded companies.

Tito is an industry expert who presents at conferences throughout the U.S. He is active in professional and community organizations; including the AMA and CMO groups. He’s also served in the board of the Ronald McDonald House Charities and the California Corporate Council Leadership Institute. He volunteers and mentors actively. Tito is also a marketing advisor with Connect, the business incubator.

Tito is also an adept marketing educator in Southern California, currently serving as adjunct faculty and professor of marketing at UCLA and Cal State San Marcos. His topics have ranged from the principles of marketing to the capstone course on marketing strategy, as well as executive management courses.

He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the California State Polytechnic University in Pomona, CA; and has a Master of Business Administration from the Anderson School of Business at the University of California, Los Angeles.

Mark Jeltema, MBA

Mark is an executive level strategist that specializes in assisting small and medium sized businesses to refine and build their strategies for the future.  As a seasoned operations leader he supports businesses in building actionable strategies, building high performing teams, and understanding the impact of emerging technologies on their companies.

  

With 20 years of experience in technology systems, product development, sales, and executive leadership Mark helps executive teams bridge the gap between where they want to go and the systems that will get them there.  Mark has been a leader and worked in multiple industries over the years including CPG and heavy equipment manufacturing, high technology SaaS and Security-as-a-service, distributed computer systems (IoT), professional services, and oil and gas.

Mark serves multiple capacities within operations and strategy supporting his clients with business strategy development, organizational redesign and reinforcing the area’s that support the core business.

Jeff is a solutions-driven leader with 20 years of broad cross-functional experience in small, medium and large organizations. As a “creative problem solver” with more than 50 issued U.S. patents, his expertise is in the full cycle value creation and monetization of technology.

Specific areas of consulting activity include:

  • Analyzing markets and formulating and executing organic and/or inorganic growth plans (North America and Europe)

  • Conceptualizing, building, marketing, selling and supporting new sources of revenue

  • Innovation and Innovation Program Management

 

As a “thinker, planner and a doer”, Jeff has a unique blend of skills and experience in the areas of Innovation, Product, Marketing and Strategic Development that can be leveraged to create and deliver exceptional value for technology focused organizations.

Jeff’s industry experience includes Telecom, Manufacturing, Electronics, IoT, Wearables, Mobile/Wireless, Residential Security, Access Control, Smart/Connected Home and Digital/Connected Health.

Jeff has maintained a North American and European focus throughout his career as a result of his fluency in French and an international business education (MBA and BSBA) and extensive professional experience on both continents. Jeff served as a founding member of the Consumer Technology Association’s Health and Fitness Technology Board for several years and is currently a member of the Product Development and Management Association.
